Confident that you can be better than your competition. Now what?
Starting new business
There are so many factors in a new business, and ignoring any one of them can be fatal to the success of your business. Have you selected the right location? Can you afford the rent? Did you get good lease terms? Do you even need a location, or can you operate as a home-based business? Employees? Websites? Marketing? Business permits and licenses? Finding customers/clients? Getting complicated already!
You can ask your friends, do hours of research and still miscalculate. Your best bet is to consult with an experienced business person to make sure you don’t miss any important steps. There are so many factors in opening a business including Operations, Financial, Legal, Marketing, Products/Services, Employees (which opens up a whole other level of what you need to do). Are you good at them all? Do you know where to start and what to do?
If not, partner up with someone with experience. Having that expertise, accountability and follow-up are really good reasons to work with a consultant if you are planning to open or have just opened a new business. Contact me if you would like more information.
